Water colour flowers

So for art we have been making flowers with water colours. We learnt all about water colour and how to layer and all it. We did a quizlet of the types of water colours like layering , glazing dilution and more and learnt what they meant and how to do them.

We started off just draft drawing our flowers looking at different types, we looked at some other peoples flower drawings to give us some ideas . Then we started painting and getting the hang of water colouring and layering. After we had gotten the hang of it we started to create our final flower.

I have to to say though before this i didn't really know how to layer or use water colour but now i think i do.

I decided to make my flower a tulip. For my tulip i used brown for the pot green, and used some different shades of red for my flower. So here is some of my designs that I made hope you enjoy.

Painting

On Saturday Me Lucy and Ella did some paintings. So first we got my mums water paints and sprays out. We used this cool sheet sprayed water all over it and used that for the sprays and paint.

So then we figured out what pictures we where going to draw and paint then practised them on a piece of paper. Then we painted on our canvases.

So here are some pictures of our paintings we did

I wanted to do a picture like my sisters did but my mum told me she wanted me to paint her a cat one and my sisters did one each and we only had 3 big canvases so I couldn't do much with the little canvases.
