Method:
Equipment:
- Sugar
- Baking soda
- golden syrup
- saucepan
- table spoon
- cookie cutter
- baking paper
- Bunsen burner
- Tripod
Instructions:
- Get all your equipment
- wash your hands
- Set up the Bunsen burner
- Put the pot on the tripod under the Bunsen burner
- light the Bunsen burner (hole close)
- Add 5 table spoons of sugar to the pot
- Add 2 table spoons of golden syrup
- Melt and mix
- Turn the gas off then add one table spoon of baking soda and mix
- Scrape the hokey pokey onto the baking paper
- Let it cool down for at least 30 seconds
- Press a cookie cutter into the hokey pokey
