Hey guys, So for hurumanu 1 for out last task we looked at Local heroes. We could either do it about the 2011 earthquakes or the Moss shooting in 2019.
I decided to do it about the 2011 earthquakes so I looked for some heroes in the 2011 earthquakes and then I found Blair Corkran who provided assistance to those injured in City Mall and rescued a small baby In the earthquakes. So out task was to make a DLO about the local hero so I decided to do Biteable. So here it is.
So last week we learnt about Political Decision-Making. Although I wasn't here last week I still tried my best to learn about this topic.

How do we select our government in a general Election?
Every person over the age of 18 that lives or is apart of new Zealand gets to cast 2 votes , 1 of who they want to represent them localy and 2 which party they want governing NZ.
How often are our General Elections?
Usually every 3 years
How do the steps we used to create our Class Treaty compare with the steps in passing a new law?
We went into groups and spread the workload. This is the same is in parliament.
.Other people checked our work and made changes. This is like a second reading of a Bill.
We then put our treaty into a formal format. Parliamentary Services does this.
We checked it out as a whole class. This is like the final reading in Parliament.
We all signed the Treaty. This is the same as Royal Assent (signed by the Governor-General.
So still on The topic Of WW1 after I did A DLO about Women In WW1 next I Made A DLO about schools in WW1 .
Schools In WW1 was very different compared to now, They didn't learn to read do maths or any other things we learn now . Instead they Made socks and Scarves for the mean in war, They got tough to prepare to go to war.. So this is my DLO of what schools where like in WW1, Hope you like it!
