Spring learning journey 10 types of food I haven't tried

Today for the spring learning journey I did activity one. Activity one was name 10 healthy foods you haven't tried before and  see if you can make them start with different letters. I went on line and searched up some unique healthy things and then but some healthy things on the list that I was pretty sure I hadn't tried before. It was kinda hard because you never know if you have tried it when you where younger or not but it was kinda easy because there was loads of weird unique things that I know I wouldn't of have tried, So here it is.

Spring learning Journey

Last week we got to make something for the spring learning journey since they did a winter learning journey this season Well Evan know theirs only one day of winter it is still practically winter. So our class planed what kind of things we could do.

Me Ayla and Nirvana decided to do how to make chalkboard cookies because we though it would be really fun to do and If we were doing it we would defiantly do it. But we only had a limited time so its not the best. But we might not get picked to put our slide on though. But here is our side show.

Fossil Facts

So In Inquiry I posted a post about the beans growing but now we are learning about fossils. At my house I learnt how Mary Ann Mantell was the first one to find a dinosaur fossil. In Inquiry we had to make a google drawing of fossil facts. We also looked at some real fossils in real life we looked at Shark gaws and some sea shells and that kind of things.

Sumo paint

For cybersmart we tried out some new things to use then Google slides. We tried out Powtoon, Bitable, Canva and  sumopaint, I decided to show you how to use sumo paint, when you get on the app thing there should be a plan white sheet and things on the side, You can play around with all the things to decorate your picture, But there is somethings that have pro so If you don't pay for pro you cant use it.

I thought it was really fun to try out all of the things and use your amalgamation. I hope now you could maybe try out sumo paint and play with it and that. This is one picture I made.

Bean experiment

So For the next 2 weeks I am in Miss W Inquiry. In Miss W Inquiry we are learning about the 4 Spheres the biosphere, geosphere, Hydrosphere and the Atmosphere. So Today we planted a bean in two container and I think we are going to get in two groups and see who has the biggest plant.

Mission to Mars

We were challenged to research and plan a Mission to Mars. We watched Nasa videos and we read lots of articles about space travel and Mars. We learnt what humans would need to survive on Mars. And about the Oxygen how we would build or make our house how we would get food water,Protection from radiation, heat warmth and entertainment.

The first man on the moon

For the last couple of weeks our theme in our big class room was space so in my literacy class we had to write a story about Neil Armstrong landing on the moon. I decided to write my story on about how he got there and how he felt. I had loads of fun writing this story and I Evan learnt some new things about the moon and Neil Armstrong.
